Sickness Care
Although pets are pathologically happy creatures, sickness can bog them down. With the limited ability to communicate, a variety of illnesses in pets can only be represented by limited symptoms like a lack of appetite or energy. Sometimes, we receive more information like vomiting, diarrhea, itching, or lameness. While we can get answers through a thorough physical exam, we also have an in-house diagnostic laboratory to help dig deeper and quickly pinpoint the cause of illness. Our laboratory includes:
- Chemistry panel
- Hematology
- Blood parasite testing (heartworm and tick borne diseases including Lyme).
- Urinalysis
- Fecal Exam
- Digital radiography
